Mallorca’s wine is distinguished by its quality and diversity. With almost 100 bodegas (vineyards), the island offers a great diversity of wines. There are 2 designations of origin and 6 geographical designations. The best-known grape varieties are Mantonegro, Callet Gorgollassa, Merlot, Syrah and Pinot Noir.
